Posts: 1 Aug 25 03 11:29 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I have just purchased a 94 sea rayder with a 90 sportjet in it. It ran ok for about the first 10 minutes or so when it progressivly got worse by the minute. I discovered a loose flywheel, tightened it up but came loose again in less than a minute. I towed it back to the launch and took it in for service. The estimate claims the flywheel has distorted the tapered shaft at the top and it would cost $4,800 to replace the power head. I would rather purchase one and install it myself. I live in the Detroit area (northern suburbs) please advise as to availbility. Posts: 0 Aug 27 03 5:53 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	HI, I read your post about the lose flywheel, i think i might have the same problem but i didnt think it was the fly wheel, MY sea rayder will run fine for a few min then it slows down. When this happens i have it floored and its goin slow, then all of a sudden it accelerates by itself but then prompty goes slow again, then i also here some rattling when i try to accelerate it slowly. Does that sound like the problem u have been having? because i was thinking it was a sparkplug malfunctioning after it gets heated up thereby makin us lose one of our cylinders. Im getting plugs with a higher heat range today and will test it. Please write back with your input on the situation if u get a chance joemazigi@hotmail.com Joe
